A Peek of our Travels

There were trips that it was just the two of us. There were also times that we were with friends. Maybe you can guess where we've been. These pictures are just of some places we've been too. The list is long so I'll try to share all of them in this blog.

Giddy goes to Balesin!

Our last visit to Balesin was in 2014 during our honeymoon and after two years we're back with our little one, Giddy. Back in 2014, we stayed in Tuscana and this time we were able to lodge in Costa Del Sol. We love their paella here.

Our tabachingching!

The little guy was fussy during dinner time so the lovely restaurant manager gave him something to play with.

St. Tropez Village's kiddie pool and surroundings are our favorite for the little guy.

We do hope he is enjoying this. Lol!

Giddy loved the jacuzzi right beside the Mykonos infinity pool.

Down for the count. We think he had a great day!

Balesin - our best wedding gift ever!

My husband and I had the best wedding gift ever! Due to a limited budget, we opted to go for a DIY and simple wedding celebration. It was exhausting but completely worth it. We are practical people and it just fitted our personality -- (being barat) thrifty!

Imagine our surprise when our ninong offered to give us a free honeymoon trip to Balesin! Woohoo! Truth be told, we were slightly excited to go to Balesin than our wedding. (Just kidding!)

Matchy-matchy in white while waiting for our flight via private plane in
Alphaland's private hangar.

We've arrived after a 20 minute flight. We were greeted with sampaguita leis
and a cool glass of buko juice.

This was our first experience in a private plane though we had traveled in an ATR like for flights to Coron and Naga. But this plane was smaller than the ATRs.

Balesin also has a short runway and can only accommodate smaller planes. Upon approach the plane will go low that you can see the beach and in the other end of the runway is more water.

First, we registered in the Balesin Island Club concierge.

While waiting for our luggage, we're taking more pictures. This is in front of the clubhouse. They are more pools here than the rest of the villages. The beach looks fabulous.

Mykonos Village is our favorite. We spent more time there than in other villages.

The pool in St. Tropez (France) Village.

The jacuzzi in Mykonos (Greece) Village.

There are two pools in Costa Del Sol (Spain) Village.
One has salt water and the other fresh water.

Taken after we peeked inside the floating villas in Bali Village.

Picturesque Bali Village at night.

More pool time in Balesin Spa.

You'll  love the white sand beach. The best spots are in front of the clubhouse and the Balesin Spa.

It was hard to leave this amazing place but we had a great time exploring this beautiful island.

It's been awhile

After my first few posts, I had traveled and traveled and traveled some more, mostly in the Philippines and other countries. I'll do my best to keep this blog active and post the other places I've visited. So please bear with me, motherhood made me adjust some priorities. ;)

Tam-awan Village (Baguio-Benguet October 2012)

Baguio-Benguet October 2012

3. Tam-awan Village

Just a few minutes away from Bell Church in Pinsao Village, we went to Tam-awan Village. There's a man-made trail you can follow. Along the way you can see huts, anitos and art installations within nature.

The trail was not that well-kept but at the end of the trail you come in a cafe with artwork. A museum with local artists' collections.

Entrance for children is Php20.00. For students and seniors is Php30.00 and for adults is Php50.00.

Lots of local flora to keep the trail pretty.
